Welcome to Shavington Primary School
This Spring Term is another busy term. This Term will see all year groups start their new Spring Term topics. They will have new Spring Term homework grids to further develop their learning at home. There will also continue to be a selection of clubs for all our year groups to enjoy as part of our broad and balanced curriculum. We have many exciting theme days and residentials planned and for Year 6 it's the term they take their SAT's in- so busy busy busy! There will again be lots of opportunities for families to get involved in school life through PSA planned events and open days.
We look forward to continuing this academic year with increased challenge and oportunities for all.
Mrs R Nicholls
Head of School
We are a happy school where children enjoy learning and are given every opportunity to succeed. We are proud of our children and value hard work and enjoyment. We aim to create the right environment for our children to learn. Through our vibrant and creative curriculum we strive for all our children to achieve their full potential and develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in their lives.
We have a committed and dedicated team at Shavington Primary School who work very hard to make sure that our children achieve and succeed. We plan careful learning experiences for the children that include residential visits and exciting activities that ensure the children engage with their own learning and develop the whole child.
We benefit from having a fantastic building and substantial grounds. In the outdoor areas of our school we have many fun and exciting areas for the children to use during playtimes and lunchtimes; from our den building area to our climbing frames, the children have plenty to keep them happy.
