Welcome to Shavington Primary School
3rd October 2014
I am very pleased to announce that we have now received the final report following the OFSTED inspection on the 18th and 19th September.
The school has been judged as 'Good' in all areas of the inspection. This means that the school has been judged to no longer 'Require Improvement'. I am very pleased that the hard work of all of the staff has been recognised and validated externally.
Your child will be bringing home a copy of the report today. It will be available on the OFSTED website from next Friday 10th October along with all other previous reports. I have also posted an electronic copy under the OFSTED section of this website by following this link: http://www.shavingtonprimary.co.uk/page/ofsted/7976
Mr D Thomas
We are a happy school where children enjoy learning and are given every opportunity to succeed. We are proud of our children and value hard work and enjoyment. We aim to create the right environment for our children to learn. Through our vibrant and creative curriculum we strive for all our children to achieve their full potential and develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in their lives.
We have a committed and dedicated team at Shavington Primary School who work very hard to make sure that our children achieve and succeed. We plan careful learning experiences for the children that include residential visits and exciting activities that ensure the children engage with their own learning and develop the whole child.
We benefit from having a fantastic building and substantial grounds. In the outdoor areas of our school we have many fun and exciting areas for the children to use during playtimes and lunchtimes; from our den building area to our climbing frames, the children have plenty to keep them happy.
If you would like to visit the school or see me then you are welcome to do so by contacting the school office and making an appointment.
