Local Community

Pupil links with the local community are an integral part of school life. On occasions groups of children go out into the community to visit senior citizens and perform at local venues. Groups of children go to senior citizens house to help with their gardening. Different groups of people are invited into school to watch shows and assemblies. At Christmas we invite the local senior citizens into school to have lunch served by the children and then watch the Christmas Show. Children also raise money to buy boxes of biscuits which with the teachers they deliver to senior citizens houses. Each year we have an open day for the community to look at the work of the school.
