We are very keen to make sure parents and carers feel fully involved in their child’s education.

We like to meet parents regularly to discuss their child's progress. Open evenings are held each term. Children's work is then displayed and class teachers are available to meet parents. Time is necessarily brief on the open evenings, but if parents need a longer discussion please arrange to come and see the teacher at another time.

Each child has a Home School Book which we would encourage parents to use to communicate with their child’s class teacher.

We have Curriculum afternoons once a term looking at a specific curriculum area. We have a parents and grandparents day in April when we have an exhibition in the hall and all visitors can look around all areas of the school. Teachers are normally available immediately before and after school. It is also helpful if you can let us know the reason for your visit so that the teacher can prepare appropriately.Parents receive regular Newsletters giving information about school dates and activities.

We also have a Parents Forum where a group of parents , one from each Year group, meet with Mr Mitchell to discuss issues relating to all aspects of school life.
