Wow! What an amazing week we have had in Year 3 this week. In English, we have been looking at Non-Chronological reports and what the main features are. We have been exploring pronouns and deciding which pronouns make writing sound more interesting and appealing to a reader. In Maths, we have recognising the place value in 3-digit numbers and learning how to order and compare numbers up to 1,000 using a range of different methods. We then moved onto counting in 50s and recognising the simialrities between the 5 and 50 x table.

In Science, we explored how animals can be classified as vertebrates or invertebrates. We then explored these headings even further and classified animals based on their skeleton types. We can confidently explain what type of animal will have an endoskeleton, exoskeleton and a hydrostatic skeleton! In Art, we have been thinking carefully about what we thought Britian looked like during the Roman era. We used water colours and carefully painted our interpretation. In French, we have been learning basic greetings, including our names and how we are feeling. Comment t'appelles tu?
