that it was an Outstanding school in all six areas. “Leaders unflinching focus on
high quality education and care for pupils together with excellent teaching and
outstanding curriculum have brought about significant improvements in standards
over recent years”.
We are obviously delighted with the report and being recognised by Ofsted for our
approach to primary education. We believe it is not just about academic results
but about giving children an environment where they can be safe and secure, have
fun, have a wide range of experiences and develop a love of learning. This report
is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all staff, children, parents and
governors.
Very few schools are graded as Outstanding by Ofsted and a very small percentage
are giving outstanding in all six areas. Ofsted commented on the outstanding spiritual,
moral, social and cultural education in the school. They highlighted the excellent
links with schools in Tanzania, France and Spain and the fact that the children

staff and led directly to the development of an exciting learning environment and
subsequently pupil’s genuine enjoyment of school. The report also spoke of the excellent
standards of education and that children’s progress which was due to the outstanding
quality of teaching they receive. The Ofsted team reported that the outstanding
curriculum also had an exceptional range and quality of activities to enrich the
